HopeHealth is Expanding
posted on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 HopeHealth Opens an Additional Branch Office Location on Cherokee Road in Florence As HopeHealth moves into our twentieth year and our patient base continues to develop, the demand for additional providers has become increasingly apparent. Since becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2007, HopeHealth has experienced significant growth each year. In 2008, HopeHealth moved from its first location on Evans Street in Florence to its current location on East Palmetto Street to accommodate growth. We also became the overseeing organization for the CARE House of the Pee Dee and we entered into a unique partnership with the iH3 Wellness Center in Lake City. In 2009, we cared for 2,699 patients and grew to over 70 employees, and in 2010, we expanded to over 90 employees, enabling us to serve 5,099 patients through 16,630 medical visits. Our goal is to serve 7,750 patients through 23,000 medical visits in 2011. To accommodate this rapid growth, HopeHealth is pleased to announce that this summer, we are adding three new providers, a new branch office in Florence, and Long's Drugs will begin offering a free local pharmacy delivery service. The three new providers, Dr. David M. Culpepper, Dr. Krista M. Kozacki, and Physician Assistant Alan Barrett will all practice at HopeHealth's new branch office located at 230 Cherokee Road in Florence, across from Timrod Park. Our three new providers bring a combined 43 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in family and internal medicine. "I am confident that my affiliation with HopeHealth will allow me to resume providing patients with the excellent care that they deserve," said Dr. Culpepper. The new office is currently being renovated to feature nine exam rooms, state-of-the-art equipment including NextGen Electronic Medical Records, an in-house laboratory, and knowledgeable staff equipped to meet patient needs. "My patients are my first priority, and with HopeHealth, I know that they will receive the friendly customer service and attention that they expect," stated Dr. Kozacki. Also in August, Long's Drugs will begin offering free pharmacy delivery service in the Florence area. The new office will open August 1, 2011, and will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Appointments can be made in advance by calling 843-413-3258. "We are excited that these three highly qualified providers are joining the HopeHealth family and look forward to providing this additional health care access site for our patients in the Florence area," said Chief Medical Officer Brian Hanna. On August 6, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the new office will be open for drop-in tours and a meet and greet with the new providers. * This is a printer friendly version of the original page, made to save you ink and paper.
